Snows are thrilled to have entered a new league in our sponsorship partners, due to our latest business venture with AFC Totton Football Club
The club’s 350-seat Testwood Stadium in Salisbury Road will officially be renamed 'The Snows Stadium' after this recent deal with Snows - allowing us the naming rights and branding at the 3500 capacity ground.
Totton Football Club was formed in 1886 and became one of the founder members of the Hampshire F.A. when it was inaugurated. These days, the ground is home to the AFC Totton team, also know as 'The Stags' to football fans, who currently play in the Bet Victor Southern League Division One South. The club was also one of the founder members of the New Forest League, formed in 1904. What's more, this stadium is now home to the Southampton FC Women's team.
Snows Chairman Stephen Snow said: “We are pleased to partner with AFC Totton as the club begins a period of exciting growth and development. AFC Totton has ambitious plans to become a community hub, providing a range of new facilities aimed at engaging the community in grass roots football and also promoting health and education. The club’s heritage and strong reputation is an excellent match for Snows – itself a locally-based and family-owned company with 50-plus years’ experience serving its communities.”
AFC Totton Chairman Wayne Mew also welcomed the partnership. He said: ''AFC Totton is delighted to have teamed up with Snows as our new stadium sponsor. We have been looking for the right company to partner with for a while and Snows is a large, well-recognised company with which we are pleased to be associated." Wayne added: “Although the initial sponsorship agreement is for four years, we hope this will be the beginning of a lasting relationship that will bring many benefits to both parties.”
